Attractions around the Island     -    when staying at Latton House

Latton House is less than a stone's throw from the Turf Walk and safe, sandy beach at Totland Bay.  The spectacular Needles are well within walking distance.

Further afield is the estuary at Newtown, the picturesque Winkle Street at Calbourne, the sub-tropical undercliff between Ventnor and St Lawrence and the thatched villages of Brighstone, Mottistone, Shorwell and Godshill

Queen Victoria's Island retreat, Osborne House at East Cowes, is open to the public, as are Carisbrooke and Yarmouth Castles.

There are vineyards and museums to visit, pottery and glassmaking demonstrations to watch, boat and open top bus trips to take or a ride on the Steam Railway to enjoy.

For our younger visitors there is Blackgang Chine Fantasy park, the Tiger and Big Cat Sanctuary, the Donkey Sanctuary, Robin Hill Country Park and Brickfields Horse Country to name but a few.
